A better oil exploration partner. Southern Plains Resources is a non-operating participant in oil and gas exploration and development. We acquire acreage in prospective natural resource plays across the Rocky Mountain region and Williston Basin in the United States, with a primary focus on crude oil.

By concentrating our activities on large or developing plays, we have the opportunity to acquire both underdeveloped and developed acreage positions for future drilling. We then partner with operators for exploration, development and production.
